4 Questions, 4 Conversations
Daily Value Created
When you get down to simplicity, there are only four conversations that are going on all the time in your practice. This is the practical application of a "bottom-up" structure of ownership and management.
The owners job is to support the managers. They ask the managers, "How can we help you?" and empower managers to do what they need to do.
A manager's job is to support the Team. Managers ask the Team, "How can we help you?" Managers offer expectations, tools, mentoring and more to support the Team.
The Team's job is to support the patients. The Team asks the Patient, "How can we help you?" and supports patients by following their role's 4Blocks to handle the 4Fears all patients have: Pain, Cost, Time, and Understanding,
If these three conversations happen effectively, the fourth conversation is one the patient has after leaving the practice. They are impressed enough to mention it, and this is a wonderful thing. This is where referrals and growth come from.
