Don't fill the dentists' schedule first. Your doctors' schedules will fill as the hygiene schedules fill. Don't assume that your patients are happy with their appointment times. Ask patients what time they would prefer. Use your "Phyllis" column to be resilient against cancellations and able to handle walk-ins. Cross-training and fully deploying assistants and other roles further facilitate this.
