Notes:

Clean out stain or material with 1/4 round. You'll want to use water if there's a stain. No stain is present here, so it's done dry.

Use an ET6 fluted football bur to create broad cavosurface margin. A broad margin will allow us to make a perfect restoration in the center of this tooth, giving us enough room to apply the layers of restorative materials so we can avoid the very visible white line effect that would otherwise result.

Microetch for improved surface prep for bond strength using Danville gel Microetch.

Rinse and dry with two suctions

Apply Danville Microprime: desensitizing and antibacterial

Blow out excess, thin and dry with air

Apply bonding: Scotchbond 5th gen

Dry, thin, and cure

Ring around the cavosurface margin with Beautifill High-flow F10 A2 or 3. Tease in resin with an explorer and eliminate air bubbles.

Cure.

Tease in ReNamel microfill central to the ring using plastic filling instrument.

Cure

Polish dry and establish margin with Brassler ET6 flame bur using a feather touch. No water for margin visibility.

Suction off powder to maintain visual on the margin you're establishing.

Remove excess flash with Montana Jack scaler

Polish dry with ET6 establishing the margin further, lloking for voids and air bubbles

Polish with ET12 football bur to further define margin

Finish with two grits of Brassler Dialite: medium-grit purple then orange ultrafine in a low-speed handpiece.
