None of this is about being liked, per se. The point of awareness of Presence is that each patient feels that they are seen, heard, and taken care of. Each team member they deal with must do their part to contribute to the patient's perception that when they come to your clinic, they are going to get good care.
Marnie is a face to face all-star because she's so interested and ready to connect. In sharing the story of an assistant with great face to face we see the way team face to face works. The fact that the patient has several people to interact with each visit means that no one person has to do all of the work in making a connection. As long as each team member is connecting authentically, the patient will understand (and, more important, really feel) that they are being taken care of.
