We want to run businesses that go above and beyond. Part of that is in how we approach talking to the team about money. We want teams with a growth mindset. That means we're asking them to see their job as a means to self-actualization, way at the tip of Maslow's pyramid. This requires us to help our Teams see the positive results they will reap from long-term, sustained effort. Discussing the topic effectively requires finesse, but it must be done.
